How it works:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the upper part there\u2019s a nozzle dosing water droplets. A strobe light is used to illuminate them. Frequency of the strobe can be altered with embedded potentiometer. Tuning the strobe light\u2019s frequency to the falling droplets creates an illusion of a droplet freezing mid-air, or even moving up! How it\u2019s made:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The exhibit has a hexagonal base, 750 mm height. In the central part of the base there\u2019s a water container to catch the falling droplets, and behind it a vertical wall, hiding water pipes, and working as a screen to observe the phenomenon. In the frontal part the strobe\u2019s potentiometer is situated.
