A speaker is mounted to the tube, and sine wave is emitted. The goal is to find the resonance frequency. When doing so, one can hear the sound getting louder and observe the styrofoam balls in the tube move in an impressive way. There are two ways to find resonance: the first one is to change the lenght of the tube with a piston and the secon is to change the sine wave frequency, either with a knob, or a touchscreen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
