Exhibit demonstrates the phenomenon of an electrical discharge during a thunderstorm. Visible static jumps between the cloud and objects beneath it. On the left side of the exhibit there are so-called Franklin bells. When the cloud gets close enough to them, the electric charge is induced to the closer bell and the steel ball between the bells gets pushed towards the farther, grounded one. This demonstrates the process of conversion from electric to kinetic energy.
