How it works:
The exhibit is controlled with an embedded touchscreen. After pressing the ’START’ button on the screen, you should stand at the marked spot on the revolving platform. During the turn of the platform a depth sensor gathers the data, and the built-in PC computer processes it to build a 3D model of the scanned person’s body. After the platform finishes it’s revolution, you should wait approximately 30 seconds for the output to be shown on the screen. You can watch it in 3D space using the touchscreen, or download to use e.g. for 3D printing.
How it’s made:
The main element of the exhibit is the vertical unit, containing a depth sensor, a embedded 22” touchscreen, and a PC computer. At approximately 1 m from the unit, there is a revolving platform with railing. All construction elements made from lacquered MDF
