The exhibit shows the behaviour of a ferrofluid in a magnetic field. Thanks to a cone shaped coil, it is easy to observe ferrofluid spikes that correspond with the field’s lines. Turning the knob lets one adjust the strenght of the magnetic field. Date: 23rd January 2018
